Besame 1938 Cream Rouge in Crimson Review

Besame Crimson Rouge

Bésame is a line of cosmetics inspired by authentic vintage beauty products and makeup. I’ve been using their lipsticks for years. Now that it is winter, I’m currently in a cream blush/gel stain makeup mood. I want a dewy complexion so I’ve switched to cream-based products.

Besame 1938 Crimson Cream Rouge is exactly what the name implies. It’s a vintage inspired red cream rouge for lips and cheeks.

The packaging: Besame is a great brand because they’re dedicated to every detail. This is a painted tin… Continue reading | 11 Comments

Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick Review – 204 Caffe

Armani Rouge Ecstasy

I’ve been in a makeup funk for a long time and I’m finally starting to feel like playing in it again. Who knows, maybe a vintage makeup look tutorial will show up again?

Today, I’m taking a brief break from fragrance and quickly reviewing a new lipstick that I bought last week.

This liner is one that you sharpen. The other end features a high-quality blending brush. The outside of the liner represents the shade of… Continue reading | 6 Comments

Besame Cosmetics Sweetheart Balm Review

Besame Sweetheart Balms

It’s my belief that any good cosmetics brand should offer a a good lip balm, especially if the line sells lipstick. Besame is known for their vintage inspired makeup, especially their historically accurate lipstick shades in pretty gold bullets. I feel if you are going to offer bold lipstick, then offer something that makes lips soft and smooth too. And the line does – Sweetheart Balm.

These balms are housed in glass jars with a cute lid. As you already know, Besame knows how to do… Continue reading | 2 Comments

Inglot Freedom Palette Eyeshadow Review

Inglot Freedom Palette

Months ago I bought a 10 Eyeshadow Freedom Palette and 10 Eyeshadows from Inglot. Since then I’ve had numerous internal conversations with myself talking myself out of going back to Macy’s and buying three more Eyeshadow Freedom Palettes. I absolutely love these and can say that this is one of the best beauty purchases that I’ve made in my entire life.

Let me quickly review the palette itself. And let me tell you that I already own 4 MAC Pro Palettes that hold 15 eyeshadows. I… Continue reading | 5 Comments
