The Lipstick League – week of 7.28.14

Question of the Week: Which celebrity do you wish would create a celebrity fragrance and why? What do you think it should smell like?

EauMG’s Answer: Oh, I’d LOVE to hear your answer to this question. Years ago, I would have (and did say) RuPaul but Ru launched Glamazon last year. And then I would have said Elvira but Elvira launched perfumes with Demeter last year. Hell, there are even

CB I Hate Perfume 2nd (Alan) Cumming EDP Perfume Review

CB I Hate Perfume 2nd Cumming

Cumming which later became 2nd (Alan) Cumming is one of those perfume collaborations that just makes sense. We have “outcast” perfumer Christopher Brosius teaming up with the eccentric actor and writer Alan Cumming to create an “anti-celebrity” celebrity perfume with profits going to various LGBTQ charities. The final product = CB I HATE CELEBRITY PERFUME.

Beyonce Heat Rush EDT Perfume Review

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

EauMG’s The 2013 List – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly Perfumes

Oh, 2013…I’m ready to see you go. 2013 was an interesting year for me and I look forward to 2014. However, I think 2013 was a good year in the “year of perfume”.

2013 introduced the world to a nifty perfume subscription program, Olfactif. We’ve been needing this and it’s finally here! Perfume got some museum exposure with the “Art of Perfume Exhibit” at MAD. The Institute of Art and Olfaction in L.A. has been very active. I’ve found some really cool blogs this year that I love to read like… Continue reading | 42 Comments
