1960’s Fashion – Get the Makeup Look of Catherine Deneuve

1963 Catharine Deneuve magazine cover

Here’s a fairly young picture/magazine cover of Catherine Deneuve from 1963. This is that classic early 60’s “French” look. It’s all about the black eyeliner. Here’s what I did to get a similar Catherine Deneuve look:

FACE: Since I have under eye discoloration, I applied Neutrogena Healthy Skin Smoothing Concealer in Fair and blended with my fingers. With the sponge included, I applied Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation in Natural Ivory. The flash has washed Catherine out… Continue reading | 13 Comments

Ursula Andress Makeup Look

Ursula with black hair and I love it! I’m guessing this pic is from the 60’s or maybe the early 70’s. This makeup look works for most complexion but I think it would be amazing on medium to dark complexions.  Here is what I used to get a similar look to Ursula’s… Continue reading | 9 Comments

More of the 1950’s: Get The Look of Märta Torén

Marta Toren

I love a rusty colored lip. And can one go wrong with retro cateyes? Nope.

To get beautiful Märta Torén’s look:

FACE: Marta’s complexion is flawless. Apply concealer where needed. Shiseido Concealer Stick can cover anything from blemishes to undereye circles. Follow up with foundation. Try a mousse foundation like Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. This is a nice formula and it looks great if you buff it after applying with a “buff” brush. Lightly dust a translucent powder over the face. I love… Continue reading
