The past few months have been so busy and I’ve had to prioritize. The first thing to get pushed down the list is this blog. This is why there wasn’t an October 2016 Favorites. In November, I was equally as busy but I’ve sort of navigated my responsibilities better. But, then I haven’t actually felt like blogging. The past few weeks (December), I have so that’s why there’s a sudden 2-for-1: Belated Favorites.
I have survived the Dorian + Dahl Killer Cupcake of 2012.
Killer Cupcake is like methadone for junk food addicts. It’s sweet, sweet, sweet. It opens with a cherry cola effervescence! I get birthday cake with vanilla buttercream. There is a hint of cool spice. But, mostly I get cake, frosting and sprinkles.

Vanille Abricot smells exactly like cotton candy. I know fragrance reviwers and critics love to throw around that term: cotton candy. They seem to use it to describe any fragrance that may be sugary or sweet, and they usually say it in a snobby tone. I don’t throw “cotton candy” around. Vanille Abricot seriously smells just like cotton candy. Pink, fluffy cotton candy.
Oh, geez, can you believe it is already November? You know what that means. Christmas music will be pounding your eardrums. A little trip to the store to pick up paper towels will take too long for no good reason. You’ll be suffer respiratory distress because Trader Joe’s set out those cinnamon broom things.
