This isn’t my usual toner. But, I love it for the summer. Burt’s Bees Garden Tomato Toner is for oily and troubled skin. My skin is usually OK. Because I live in a region that does get summer weather and I do not have A/C, I do get oily. This oiliness sometimes equals a breakout. I have to switch my skincare regimen in the summer. This is the “heavy duty” toner that I use.
I am aware that writing a review of a skincare item is a bit of a waste of time. Skin types and needs vary so much from person to person. This scrub just did not work for me at all. I have normal skin. I do feel like my skin gets a bit “dull” so I use a scrub a few times a week. If I am using a foaming cleanser, I use my Shisiedo brush for exfoliation. I love the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer Tinted Lip Balms because they actually have pigment. They are a great lipstick replacement. They have that minty tingle of the original Burt’s Bees lip balm. Burt’s Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser is a rich, glycerin based cleanser with a “Vaseline” like texture. It smells of orange oil which kind of reminds me of furniture polish but in a good clean way, not a gross chemical way. The cleanser is enriched with olive oil, aloe vera, rosemary and orange oil. It is deep cleansing without leaving the skin dehydrated feeling. Actually afterward my skin feels “nourished”. I have normal/combination skin (towards the drier side) and this stuff does a great job. It… Continue reading | 2 Comments
Well, for some reason I bought this. Why do I keep buying lip balms? I have enough. I do not like the original Burt’s Bees balm that is super minty and tingling. The honey doesn’t sting and it smells sickly sweet of honey. I’ve read some reviews and some people are really turned off by this fragrance or compare it to urine. I don’t see that at all. The scent is very sweet and “honey”-ish. It smells like a honey latte. I don’t find the scent artificial like some are saying… Continue reading
