Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular Perfume

My Burberry Black is a flanker¹ to My Burberry. I’m sorry to disappoint. I don’t have a sample of the original so I can’t really do an accurate comparison. I had tried My Burberry before and remember liking it. Obviously, I didn’t like it enough to buy it, but I thought it was pleasant enough and fit with the Burberry brand.

I thought the Burberry Body ad campaign was very beautiful. The bottle caught my attention. I’m not a Burberry “fan girl” but I do like the original feminine and Weekend. I was excited to try this new fragrance even though I haven’t liked any of their recent launches. I sniffed Body in store a few times. I was completely disappointed. Burberry The Beat for Women perfume

The Mainstream Monday: Sniffing A Popular Fragrance

Burberry The Beat reminds me of how a GAP store smells. It’s difficult to explain,  but it does. It is a mix of air conditioner, cotton, and obviously, GAP scents (specifically GAP Stay, so maybe it isn’t so difficult to explain).
