I thought March was going to be a great month but it ended up being a real doozy.

August was one of those months that felt like it was just dragging along. I was so over the heat and was sick of hiding away in my A/C bunker. I felt guilt for being hostile towards summer when I know winter is going to be terrible but really, summer is abusive and I’m going to complain. As the kids says these days, “Sorry not sorry”.

July was an uneventful and much welcomed “chill” month for us. After the past few months, we’ve needed some time to recover. We’re also not use to heat and humidity after being spoiled by mild Seattle weather, so we often feel like taking it easy on the weekends (easy meaning hanging indoors with a/c). I hate complaining about the heat when I know that winter is going to be brutal, but we’re not used to extreme weather. We’re wimps.

March was the busiest month that I’ve had in a very long time. It was a whirlwind that I barely remember. So much happened in March. We decided that we we would move from Seattle to the NYC area. I quit my day job. We sold or gave away 99% of our possessions.
