Weekly Cheap Secret:

Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette contains 6 powder eyeshadows. Each palette contains 3 matte eyeshadows and 3 shimmer eyeshadows. There are 4 palettes in all (each named after a deadly sin). I am swatching and reviewing the palettes, Pride and Lust.

Everyday Minerals Mineral Eyeshadow Review – Blues & Greens

Everyday Minerals Eyeshadow Review
Picture of samples with no flash.

Here’s my review and swatches of Everyday Minerals Eyeshadow in shades of blue and green.

1 – Bubble Tea Pearl Eyeshadow A sky blue with blue shimmer. I usually don’t like lighter blues but this color is beautiful. Blends evenly. I see this working for blue-eyed blondes.

2 – Weeping Willow EyelinerA deep royal navy with hints of purple. This color applies evenly as a liner but splotchy as a shadow. This… Continue reading | 7 Comments

1970’s Fashion: Get The Makeup Look of Tanya Roberts

Tanya Roberts

Who doesn’t want a completely made up look every know and then? I love Tanya’s look here. This angel is all made up and it is all about product. Every feature features color. I love it.

FACE: Even out skintone with a foundation such as NARS Balanced Foundation in your shade. Apply concealer where needed. I like the creaminess of Prescriptives Flawless Skin Total Protection Concealer. I like to apply it with fingertips since the warmth of your body helps it to melt and look… Continue reading

My Cleopatra Complex: NARS Summer 2009 Makeup Collection

NARS Summer 2009 Collection

Sometimes your angel is the centerfold, this includes your Liz Taylor as Cleopatra complex. I really, really like Nars summer 2009 look. It is everything that I love, heavy teal eyes and blunt bangs. It is meant to be a very “tropic” look hence all the deep bronzes but it has enough of that Old Hollywood “Egyptian” vibe to be fun and interesting and not just another pretty, bronzey, summer look.

EYES: There is an Eye Shadow Single in Tropic which is a… Continue reading

Perfect Blue: Scott Barnes Eye Ice Loose Eyeshadow in Blue Angel

Scott Barnes

I don’t usually do light blue shadows. They are too Sarah Michelle Geller as Buffy The Vampire Slayer meets horrible big hair 80s makeup. Plus, I feel it washes out my complexion. I realized that I needed a warm light blue. I’ve found the perfect shade with Scott Barnes Eye Ice in Blue Angel.

This color is a lovely light sea blue with tons and tons of gold shimmer. It really warms it up and creates a gilded blue. I have never seen a color like it… Continue reading
