Diptyque L’Ombre Dans L’Eau Perfume Review

Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau

Rose Week 2018 – The Blackcurrant Rose

It’s Rose Week on EauMG! This is the annual celebration of rose-centric perfumes! This week I’m reviewing 5 fragrances that display a different aspect of rose perfumes.

When Diptyque launched Eau Rose in 2012, their copy emphasized how they were finally paying tribute to the beauty of a rose. This was odd for a few reasons, but the biggest one being that the brand launched something very similar in 1983 – L’Ombre dans L’Eau.

Mainstream Monday: Sniffing a Popular Perfume

Let’s get this out of the way: I am not the target demographic for any Ariana Grande perfume. I’m going to keep that in mind while I sample the newest Ariana Grande perfume, Moonlight¹. I may not be the target demographic for a celebrity perfume by a young pop star, but I have to confess I’ve seen her perfumes at Ulta and really thought the little “bunny tail” packaging was cute. Vilhelm Don’t Tell Jasmine Perfume Review

Vilhelm Don't Tell Jasmine

All I know about Tel Aviv is that it is a party city filled with hot people. Basically, I think of it like Miami except replace the Art Deco architecture with Bauhaus. When I received my Gallivant samples, I wasn’t that interested in trying Tel Aviv. Why? I thought… Continue reading | 11 Comments

Le Jardin Retrouve Rose Trocadero EDP Perfume Review

Le Jardin Retrouve Rose Trocadero

ROSE WEEK 2017 – A Tea Rose Soliflore

It’s Rose Week on EauMG! This is the annual celebration of rose-centric perfumes! This week I’m reviewing 6 fragrances that display a different aspect of rose perfumes.

Le Jardin Retrouvé is a French heritage brand of perfumes that was revived in 2016 by the original founder’s son and daughter-in-law. Before last year’s relaunch, Rose Trocadéro is the rose soliflore in the line that was previously known as Rose Thé. I mention this because my sampling notes… Continue reading | 2 Comments
