I was immediately drawn to Vilhelm Room Service because of the name. How luxurious is that? And then I read that it is a fragrance inspired by the legendary Greta Garbo and how her hotel rooms would be filled with bouquets. You can see why this one of the first perfumes I reached for out of my Vilhelm samples.
Well, I’m not going to withold the suspense. Room Service is disappointing. It’s not really the perfume as much as it is a case of terrible pairing, another case of “Wrong Perfume… Continue reading
Last year, I was going through a big peach moment. Never before had I cared for the note, but suddenly I wanted everything peach. I bought peach shower gels, lotions, candles and even perfumes. Somehow in this peach phase, I totally forgot about MDCI Perfumes Pèchè Cardinal which was a real shame because it was exactly what I wanted.

Full Regalia is a sweet, powdery perfume. It opens as a sweet vanilla with blackberry jam over a floral/jasmine Egyptian musk. As it wears on my skin, it becomes more powdery, like a… Continue reading | 10 Comments
I really couldn’t resist trying a perfume with blackberries and tar even if the copy makes me want to vomit.
A rebellious scent inspired by bikers and the babes who love them. A dark fruity floral with notes of black plum, sun-warmed blackberries, black dahlia, smoky incense, vanilla and tar. Seductive and liberating. Equally dangerous on men and women.
Because, you know, women just ride on the back of bikes, they don’t actually drive them. *eye roll*
Capsule Moto is a cough syrup-like plum… Continue reading | 3 Comments
