The Lipstick League – week of 2.20.17

Question of the Week: Quick! What were the last shampoo and conditioner purchases you made, and how are they working for you?

EauMG’s Answer: My last purchase was Matrix Oil Wonders Volume Rose Shampoo and Conditioner. It smells absolutely amazing and this is really the only reason I purchased it. It’s not really for my dry, course hair type but I can use it once a week as like a “clarifying” treatment. I

Bruno Fazzolari Seyrig EDP Perfume Review

Bruno Fazzolari Seyrig

Bruno Fazzolari Seyrig is a perfume inspired by the transitional feminine perfumes of the last 60’s/early 70’s but interpreted for all of us in the present. It’s an aldehydic floral with Syringa (she used to go by “Lilac”) as its muse.

I was stoked when I heard TIGI Bed Head was launching an artist collaboration collection. The Urban Canvas Collection features 4 popular Bed Head products with art designed by 3 artists: Jim Mahfood/Food One (checkout his Grrl Scouts comics. Do it.)… Continue reading | 4 Comments

Perfumes for the Gauguin & Polynesia Exhibit at SAM

Gauguin Woman with Flower

Art & Perfume

On Saturday, I went to Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise at the Seattle Art Museum. Being that it was Saturday, the exhibit was busy and crowded. It appears that the Saturday SAM crowd has great tastes in perfume. I smelled a few Odins, Malle Lipstick Rose and Serge Lutens Datura Noir. Our Barney’s must be busy. I’m happy that I’m not the only person that thinks about how a perfume should “work” with an exhibit. SAM needs to hire… Continue reading | 21 Comments
