More Empties! September went by rather fast.
My prediction that I would run out of most of my skincare in September was wrong. But, that was mainly because I spent a week out of town and was forced to “streamline” my skincare routine (and pull out some minis). So, I didn’t run out of as much skincare as I predicted…
Below I’ve shared what I emptied, but here’s what I ended up buying in September (trying to keep track of that as well):
The claims: Taken from the site – “A true skin SUPER FOOD! Incredibly rich in Vitamin E, Essential Fatty Acids, and Proteins, Argan Oil helps fight lines, repair imperfections, minimize scars + stretch marks; all while restoring texture, elasticity and tone. Lightweight and easily absorbed! This oil is often referred to as ‘liquid gold’ so get yourself some beauty bling!”
Ingredients: 100% Certified Organic Argania spinosa (Argan Oil)
The look/feel/aroma: This is a golden-hued oil. Yes, this oil has a smell that I could describe to be… Continue reading | 7 Comments

Years ago, I tried Kahina Giving Beauty Argan Oil. The line has since expanded to include a variety of skincare products. I’ve tried the Beauty Serum. The line also has a Brightening Serum; that’s not the one I tried.
The claims: Repair tissue damage. Prevent moisture loss. Calm irritation. Reduce inflammation. Protect skin damage from UV rays. Combat flaky skin.
Ingredients: argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil*, coffea arabica (coffee) seed oil*, bisabolol, punica granatum (pomegranate) seed extract*, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract*, hippophae rhamnoides (seabuckthorn)
Fragrance line aroma M has expanded their line to include products for the skin and hair. Using her background in aromatherapy and interest in beauty rituals used by geishas, Maria McElroy has created all-natural oils for the face and hair.
Camellia oil is packed with moisturizing fatty oils and vitamins. It’s a “secret of the geisha” (even samurais and sumo wrestlers used it) but you still see this oil commonly sold at Japanese, Korean and Chinese markets. I’ve seen it (tsubaki oil) around but haven’t used… Continue reading | 3 Comments
