Winter has left me feeling exceptionally “blah” this year so I’m basically trying to do anything that I think will remind that my feelings and this cold season are temporary. As a distraction, I did something I tell all of ya’ll not to do. I blind-bought perfumes. But, let me explain! I bought rose-centric perfumes from a discount site, all of them selling for under $25. Eric Buterbaugh EB FLORALS is a line of perfumes created by creative director and florist, Eric Buterbaugh¹. Nick’s Sunflower is the brand’s latest offering, a collaboration with milliner Nick Fouquet. Nick’s Sunflower is a fantasy fragrance of what a sunflower could smell like, assuming that sunflowers could have a distinctive fragrance.

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing Popular Perfumes
I’m trying to spend some time this summer organizing and going through all my mess. I’m attempting to organize beauty stuff, which is not easy. I don’t have much space (oh, and I have too much stuff). I’m also trying to organize perfume samples (this is not easy because I still can’t figure out a system that makes sense). I thought I’d knock out a few Mainstream Monday: The Masculine Edition reviews. Today I’m sniffing two Hugo Boss scents from the 90’s:
From tattoo choker necklaces to denim overalls to mini backpacks, we can easily see that there is a wave of 90’s nostalgia in effect right now. Even Bath & Body Works is having a moment of 90’s nostalgia and has relaunched six “Flashback Fragrances”.
