A Beautiful Life Composition

It’s back to school time. And even though, I’ve long been out of school and I don’t have children, I was oddly haunted by one of those cliché “Oh, no! You really didn’t earn a diploma so you’re going to have come back for this course” dreams. I really don’t think that one can go wrong when it comes to a combo of orange and vanilla. Orange creamsicle perfumes make me happy. A Beautiful Life (or ABL) Crush’d is one of these oh, so happy orange and vanilla blends. Bonus. I can’t read/see the name without thinking of Krush Groove. DOUBLE WHAMMY OF HAPPINESS.

I don’t know if I told you guys this, but I’m trying to grow out my hair. And yes, I’ve said this before. And yes, I have no patience and immediately get it cut as soon as it hits below the chin. I really like short hair but sometimes it feels like it lacks “umph” because it’s been cut that way for so long. So yes, I only want to grow my hair out to cut it short again…for maximum impact.

A Beautiful Life Smitten

A Beautiful Life Smitten PINK is a fruity-floral with self-described “Southern florals”. And I do get Southern florals in it but it doesn’t conjure up a Southern belle. Instead I get a festival chick.

Smitten PINK opens up as a blast of pink grapefruit. It’s sour but sweet. There is a lot of black currant. This smells sweet, tart, and a little musky.
