One of the things that I’ve learned is that coastal towns of the same latitude are really similar despite their political boundaries. Now coastal “touristy” towns are even more similar. The shops are the same. The restaurants are the same (always fried fish and potatoes). And the candies are usually the same. I was given a sample of this by a perfume pal, I knew nothing of the perfume and very little about the brand. I hadn’t read a note list or a story of inspiration.
