Here’s one of those “no makeup” 70’s makeup looks. These are a nice change for me. Not all vintage looks are red lipstick or heavy black eyeliner. Here’s what I did to get the look of 70’s sexpot, Susan George:
FACE: Susan’s face makeup is too matte for my tastes, but I’ll forgive it because her skin is flawless. Now I can’t say that for the rest of us; we know that matte foundations and looks are “aging” too. With my fingers… Continue reading | 1 Comment
I’m guessing that this is a 70’s look but it could easily be a late 60’s Casino Royale era look. Whatever the decade, I like this look. It’s a retro smoky eye that works for all complexions. Here’s what I did to get a Bond Girl-esque Miss Bouchet inspired look.

I just want summer to be here! Here’s a very easy to wear sunkissed 70’s look. It’s a nice look, but man, I hate 70’s hair…

EYES: Brows are thick and very natural. Apply a clear brow… Continue reading | 1 Comment
Who doesn’t want a completely made up look every know and then? I love Tanya’s look here. This angel is all made up and it is all about product. Every feature features color. I love it.
FACE: Even out skintone with a foundation such as NARS Balanced Foundation in your shade. Apply concealer where needed. I like the creaminess of Prescriptives Flawless Skin Total Protection Concealer. I like to apply it with fingertips since the warmth of your body helps it to melt and look… Continue reading
Seems as if Dior and Givenchy accidentally got some wires crossed for their Fall 2008 Color Collections. Givenchy has released some of their items and they are a bit “dandy”. This new Givenchy Pocket Beauty Case plays along with the 1930’s, old Hollywood androgyny, and 1970’s Faye Dunaway vibe. This is a new adorable silver Givenchy logo-ed “pocket watch” styled beauty case. It houses a dewy shimmering sheer pink highlighter that can be used on lips, cheeks, chest, or shoulders. My vote is for lips. It looks… Continue reading | 2 Comments
