Ramon Monegal Impossible Iris EDP Perfume Review

Ramon Monegal Impossible Iris

Ramon Monegal Impossible is a nice “feminine” iris with traces of fruit and white florals.

Impossible Iris opens as a slightly fruity iris with a peppery greenness. It’s not too rooty or earthy. It’s not an old-fashioned barbershop iris. Nor is it overly powdery. It’s a well-balanced iris. With time Impossible Iris becomes more floral, more lady-like with night-blooming white florals. Most white florals want to be the lead singer; the white florals in Impossible Iris are back up singers…and I thought that wasn’t possible!

Van Gogh Irises

Notes listed include Italian iris, cassiopeia, raspberry, ylang-ylang, Egyptian jasmine, and Virginia cedarwood. PERFUMER – Ramon Monegal

Try Impossible Iris if you love iris perfumes. Or if you like Malle Iris Poudre, Parfums DelRae Mythique, Acqua di Parma Iris Nobile Sublime, Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie EDP, and/or Serge Lutens Bas de Soie.

Impossible Iris has above average projection and longevity.

The 1.7 oz bottle of Impossible Iris retails for $185 at Beautyhabit. Samples are also available for purchase.

Victoria’s Final EauPINION A really good  iris. Impossible Iris isn’t complicated but it is so good. It smells expensive and sophisticated. If you want an expensive and sophisticated iris but find Malle Iris Poudre too powdery, try Impossible Iris.
