Providence Perfumes Lei Flower EDP Natural Perfume Review

Providence Perfume Co. Lei Flower

Providence Perfume Lei Flower is a tropical gourmand that is 100% naturally delicious.

Lei Flower opens up “juicy” almost like cherry, cherry-almond. It’s so juicy and fruity at this stage. And I love it for this.  It gets sweet like honey, but it isn’t honey. It’s a mix of the ripe fruits, sticky, carmalized sugar, and coconut flakes.Yeah, it’s delicious. There are florals but they come across more like dried fruits, like dehydrated slices of bananas and plantains. Lei Flower reminds me of marzipan with coconut. Imagine a tropical marzipan. Delicious, fruity marzipan. The base of Lei Flower is toasted sugar. Lei Flower reminds me of a souvenir, like macadamia nut chocolates that people bring you back from Hawaii. Smelling Lei Flower doesn’t transport you to tropical paradise, but it does remind you of tropical paradise. And sometimes that’s all we have, memories. And I’ve never declined a box of macadamia-coconut chocolates.

Notes listed include ripe fruits, toasted coconut, frangipani, and carmalized sugar. PERFUMER – Charna Ethier

This is a perfume for gourmand lovers to try. Like I said, if  you want to smell like tropical marzipan, here you go. Also, try this if you like “burnt sugar”. You must like gourmand and sweet to like Lei Flower in my opinion.

A 1 oz spray of Lei Flower retails for $115 at Providence Perfumes boutique. Other sizes are also available.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONTropical marzipan. This smells like a realistic dessert, a tropical gourmand. I like it. And I don’t think you have to be a fan of naturals to like it either.

  1. Victoria,
Thank you for your review of my Lei Flower perfume. I spied it on twitter (which is amazing as I just joined and can barely figure out how to do anything!) and was pleased and thankful. I’m so glad you enjoyed Lei Flower.
    Thanks!
