I have reviewed quite a few Providence Perfume Co. perfumes on EauMG and I’m surprised that I’m just know getting around to reviewing the line’s body oil!
The Formula & My Experience: It’s a blend of apricot, sweet almond, safflower, aloe and jojoba. I have very dry skin and prefer oils as moisturizers. I love this formula because it is very nourishing but absorbs very quickly in comparison to other natural oils that I’ve used. My skin is literally left feeling silky and smooth for up to 24 hours. It does what it claims to do.
The Fragrance: Providence Perfume Co. uses botanicals and natural ingredients to scent their products. The scent is a creamy, sweet vanilla benzoin amber. It’s so good alone or layered under any fragrance to add a resinous creaminess. I know that Ida Meister of Fragrantica loves to layer this under L’Artisan Parfumeur Seville a l’aube. I bet that is heavenly. Currently, I layer it under Prada Candy. Benzoin goodness.
If you like moisturizing oils, you need to check out what Providence Perfume Co. has to offer. This is great stuff. Other scents are available: Wild Lime Leaf, Lavender Vanilla and Orange Blossom. I also like that the bottle has a pump.
The 3.4 oz bottle retails for $26 at Providence Perfume Co.

This sounds great! I’m also loving the Tallulah Jane Halona body oil and all it’s bright citrusy goodness.
I love moisturizing oils. I really need to try the Tallulah Jane ones. I hear such wonderful things about them.
[…] My favorite/s from the line that I’ve tried: I bought a full bottle of Cocoa Tuberose and it’s almost empty. This tells you how much I love it. And when it’s gone, I’ll buy another. I really should buy a full bottle of Hindu Honeysuckle as well. So my favorites are Cocoa Tuberose and Hindu Honeysuckle. If we’re talking body product scents, I love Fern and Amber Cream. […]

[…] Providence Perfume Co. Amber Cream Body Oil – This is a natural, sweet smelling body oil that leaves my skin feeling so soft. The aroma layers nicely with everything. No joke. I can’t think of a genre of perfume that doesn’t “work” with this. Retails for $26 at Providence Perfume Co. Full review here. […]
