Phoenix Botanicals Linden Moon is a perfume inspired by linden blossoms drenched in moonlight and the Summer Solstice.
Linden Moon opens with lime zest and linden tea. The heart is a waxy jasmine with faint linden blossoms. It dries down to a grassy vetiver and patchouli.
On my skin, the jasmine is the most prominent; however, this is what puts the “night” in this perfume. It’s a soft linden breeze paired with heady night-blooming jasmine.
Notes listed include citrus accord, linden, jasmine, vetiver, patchouli and woods. Launched 2013. PERFUMER – Irina Adams
Or if you like perfumes like Aftelier Honey Blossom, April Aromatics Unter den Linden, Sweet Anthem Lucille, Tommi Sooni Passerelle and/or Annick Goutal Eau de Ciel. Being a soft fragrance, I think it is a good choice for “day” or summer wear.
Projection and longevity are below average. I get about 2-3 hours of wear. The scent wears very close to the skin.
The 4ml bottle retails for $40 at Phoenix Botanicals. Samples are also available for purchase.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – A soft jasmine with lime. It’s more jasmine than linden on my skin. And this is what makes me think of it as a “night linden”.

This sounds really lovely–I really enjoy linden in perfume, I’ll have to grab a sample of this!
I love linden. I can’t resist sampling anything if linden is listed as a note 🙂
Thank you for the review, Victoria! Picking Linden flowers at night I noticed a more indolic, Jasmine-like aroma, especially in the late-blooming Linden, those with bigger leaves and bigger, juicier blossoms. I find the shared aromachemicals of flowers very intriguing… Happy sniffing!
Thank you for sharing!
What a pleasant surprise =)
