Phoenix Botanicals Amber & Blues Natural Perfume Review

Phoenix Botanicals Amber & Blues

Bright sunshine leaves long shadows, the sort of shadows that remind us that autumn is coming. Phoenix Botanicals Amber & Blues opens with a sharp citrus and rosewood. It’s bright but not “light”. It quickly becomes a resinous amber bringing to mind fallen leaves crunching underfoot. The weather gets chillier and you put on your favorite sweater, knee socks and boots. Amber & Blues becomes a sweeter, powdery fragrance with florals, amber and a rich, syrupy benzoin.

Amber & Blues is inspired by a walk through an autumn forest and that is exactly where it takes us.

Notes listed include rosewood, bergamot, amber, ylang-ylang, rose, vanilla, labdanum, resins and benzoin. PERFUMER – Irina Adam

Give Amber & Blues a try if you like amber florals. Or if you like Estee Lauder Collection Amber & Ylang, By Kilian Amber Oud, L’Artisan Parfumeur L’Eau d’Ambre, Regina Harris Amber Vanilla and/or Pacifica Spanish Amber. Amber & Blues is unisex.

Amber & Blues has average projection and longevity for a natural perfume oil.

This fragrance is available in a few sizes. The 1/8 oz bottle retails for $26 at Phoenix Botanicals.

Victoria’s Final EauPINION A warm, powdery ylang-ylang amber. A good fall fragrance. It really does capture that time when late summer suddenly turns into autumn.

  1. Happy Autumn, Victoria! Thank you so much for your review.
This in-between summer/fall season is really dragging on here on the East Coast, and I’m not complaining… 😉

    1. You guys have had some great weather. I’m jealous! But, I shouldn’t complain, we’ve had a really mild and sunny autumn so far.

I do need to switch out my perfumes to more fall-like items.
