The claims & description – The serum is chocked full of antioxidants that are supposed to help with anti-aging, brown spots, eczema, sensitive skin, rosacea and wrinkles. It can be used under or over moisturizer once or twice daily.
The packaging and formula – The product comes in a small tube. It has a silicone serum consistency. The product has no scent. The color is translucent but “turmeric stained” meaning that it has a saffron hue.
Reminder of my skin type – My skin is dry. My biggest concern is dark spots.
My Experience – It took me some time to figure out how to use this stuff. Why? The texture felt like a night time serum but it is an antioxidant serum. I thought antioxidant products were to be used during the day. Plus, the company’s directions were really vague telling me I could use it under moisturizer, over moisturizer as a foundation primer, at night, in the morning. It was too confusing for me. I ended up trying it a few ways and finally settled on using it at night after heavy-duty acid exfoliation treatments. After using it regulary, I started seeing results. My skin felt smooth, redness from treatments was diminished. I didn’t notice a decrease of dark spots from this product but I felt it was a good treatment for using products that are supposed to diminish dark spots. *Many people use this as a foundation primer and love it. This works too (See The Non-Blonde’s review that I linked to below).
Who may like this serum? If you like Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Recovery Concentrate, I recommend that you give Resist Super Antioxidant Serum a try. I have used both and the results have been the same. But, the Paula’s Choice product retails for about $27 and the Estee Lauder one for $95 for the exact same amount of product. If you have sensitive skin or have rosacea, I highly recommend this product. When my skin was at its weakest, this product really helped. Overall, I recommend this product to anyone with normal, dry, or sensitive skin that is not using an antioxidant product. You need one in your routine. *I also recommend the Paula’s Choice product over Estee Lauder’s because Paula’s Choice does not test on animals and Estee Lauder does.
Who may not like this serum? Those that do not want a heavy feeling serum. But, you’re in luck 😉 There is now a “Ultra-Light” version of this serum that you may want to check out. I do not recommend this product to those with oily skin or those that have had bad reactions to ‘cones in the past. Those with oily skin should check out the new Ultra-Light version.
I love this product. It works so well for me. I can’t praise it enough.
The 1 oz. tube of Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum retails for about $26.95 and is available at Paula’s Choice.

OK, so Advanced Night Repair is one of my holy grail products but I can’t afford it. I basically only have it when it’s part of a gift with purchase. So…. I’m gonna order me some of this Paula’s Choice product. THANK YOU!!!! 🙂

Advanced Night Repair is awesome and I used those little GWP bottles for years. I never bought FBs because I was broke and couldn’t justify that expense at the time.
So, here comes the PC and I love it. The ingredients are very much like ANR and I actually like the PC better because of the squeeze packaging. AND because I can afford it which means that I can use it daily and use more than a little bit 🙂
This sounds like a potential winner. I’m trying not to add to many things to my routine, but I am not happy with my current serum, so this could easily be a replacement when that runs out. Thanks for the review!
I do like that this one can be used day or night/day and night. That simplifies things, doesn’t it? 😉
