OK, so I am not really one for celebrity scents. However, I do own a few because an enjoyable perfume is an enjoyable perfume despite who’s name may be on it.
I actually love Paris Hilton, the person. Like not her personally but the fact that she is the rich gal that is basically famous for being rich, skinny and a brat. I’m truly fascinated by her. Oh, and I’m also totally jealous.
Now let’s get to her namesake celeb perfume. This is a fruity-floral with an emphasis on the fruity part. It smells of melon liquor/Midori that is followed by a sour apple flavored Jolly Rancher. It’s sweet-sour candies. This sugar rush is followed by jasmine and tuberose. They aren’t indolic or heady. They’re squeaky clean. The base is a modern chypre of moss, sandalwood and white musk.
It’s a perfume that I ended up buying because it was A. cheap and B. pleasant. Do I wear it often? No. But, it’s nice enough.
Notes listed include apple, orange, melon, jasmine, freesia, lily, tuberose, mimosa, lily-of-the-valley, ylang-ylang, sandalwood, musk and oakmoss. Launched in 2005. PERFUMERS: Steve Demercado and James Krivda
This perfume can be found at discount sites like Perfume.com and Amazon for under $20.

Oh, Paris Hilton…I really wish this perfume had a different name. I hate these “celeb” scents that confuse people when you talk about them. “Is she talking about the fragrance or the girl?”
LOL! I know!
Ralph Lauren Ralph bit muskier and woodier. I liked it the first times I wore it but then it was too much. I’ll stay with Ralph.
I like Ralph. They used to make a scented hair gel in that line. I’m not one to go with the “additional” perfume products, but that hair gel was awesome. It left my hair smelling sooo good.
