The Lipstick League – Week of 4.2.18

Question of the Week: Spill it; what beauty products are in your purse right now?

EauMG’s Answer: I am very boring and don’t carry a purse because I do not like them. When I go out, sometimes I’ll grab some sort of bag, but overall, I don’t use one. I typically grab a phone, wallet, keys and a lip product and shove into a pocket/s. However, I am very tempted by this Madewell leather tote in black for

M. Micallef Ananda Perfume Review

M.Micallef Ananda

Over the past few years, I’ve been craving peach-scented things. I have always liked peach/stones fruit notes, like that in Lancôme Trésor or Chanel Coco. But over the past two years, I’ve oddly enjoyed straight-forward, fruity peaches (like cheap stuff by 4711). M. Micallef Ananda is a fruity-floral that perfectly satisfies my straight-forward peach cravings without coming across like some one-trick perfume.

Amouage Beach Hut Man Perfume Review

Amouage Beach Hut Man

Life is a beach, but Amouage Beach Hut Man isn’t. Or at least it’s not some tropical floral/coconut/”Margaritaville” beach. EauMG’s March 2018 Empties

March 2018 Empties

It’s April! I’m so excited for spring, even though it doesn’t feel like it at all. It snowed day. It’s not fun to wake up after a nice sunny weekend to see snow everywhere. The good news is that most of it is gone so we can go on and forget about the weather’s silly episode.

It was finals in March so I sort of snapped and stress-bought stuff. I ended up ordering a couple of lipsticks and a concealer from Sephora. Beauty Brands

Strangelove NYC Lost in Flowers Perfume Review

Strangelove NYC Lost in Flowers

When I first tried the Strangelove NYC line¹, I was immediately drawn to Lost in Flowers, a gorgeous floral. One thing I learned about this brand is that it does contain a high amount of naturals so patience is key. This means that these will change on your skin so a first impression is only that, a first impression.

I’m lost in flowers as soon as I put on Lost in Flowers. It’s a fresh, heady white floral that smells realistic, like standing in the… Continue reading
