A Top 10 Rose Gold Lipsticks Guide

Helena Rubinstein Pink Champagne

For the past few years rose gold has really had a moment. I’ve seen some people online say they are sick of it. But, I think that’s like saying one is sick of gold or silver. Rose gold is merely a neutral color that’s popular for a reason – it’s flattering. It’s the sort of shade that seems to work on a variety of complexions. It’s like wearing a soft candlelit glow. It’s the sort of shade that reminds me of champagne, rosé and burning embers. Rose… Continue reading | 8 Comments

Tambela Wild Chypre and Verdigris Natural EDP Perfume Reviews

Tambela Perfumes

I have perfume samples that I forget that I have. I think if sniffing perfumes is your hobby, then you can relate. It makes me a bit embarrassed to admit this. First, it makes me feel a hoarder. In addition, they come with “traits” and a suggestion of what sort of activity they’re perfect for. The brand talks about “synesthesia” but I think what they are trying to say is “multi-sensory” because pairing a… Continue reading | 7 Comments

Ayala Moriel Tea Rose Natural Perfume Review

yellow rose wallpaper

Ayala Moriel Tea Rose is a limited edition rose soliflore inspired by Asian varieties of roses. My warning is that you better absolutely adore rose if you are going to try this one. My next warning, I love roses.

Tea Rose opens as a grassy rose with lemony-citronella facets. In the heart, Tea Rose becomes a fruitier rose with a a peach rooibos and green leaves. It dries down to a velvety vanilla rose with musk.

Like I said, this is a rose soliflore. But… Continue reading
