Starlet is a spicy, orange blossom and rose long-wearing perfume in the Opus Oils Burlesque Collection. When I wear Starlet, I feel like an Old Hollywood starlet. Well, I feel that way every day, but you get what I’m saying 🙂 . This juice has a classic vibe.
Starlet is beautiful. It opens with green roses and tangy orange blossom water. It’s really a starlet. It’s glamorous in a classic way. With a little more time, the roses become powdery, more feminine. Orange florals are still there. On me, Starlet begins to develop past the powdery and into spice. It’s noticeably nutmeg. I get a carnation like spiciness from Starlet too. This adds to the old-fashioned glamor. Starlet is not a shy spicy floral.
Starlet is a perfume for people that respect old, classic perfumes. Sniffing Starlet is like sniffing an old, unlabeled perfume resting on an antique waterfall dresser. The thick, oily juice is dark amber. You sniff it and you see the powdered faces of 1930’s Hollywood icons like Bette Davis and Katharine Hepburn. Starlet is glamorous in that Old Hollywood way that so many of us love.
Notes listed include Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose, Egyptian orange blossom, orange blossom water, neroli, cocoa and nutmeg.
Many sizes are available. The 1/2 ounce Starlet parfum retails for $55 at Opus Oils.
sounds right up my alley, esp with Bulgarian rose!

It’s a wonderful balance of rose and orange blossoms. Mmmm….
You had me somewhere around…”orange blossom”. And then, you mentioned Old Hollywood. That’s it. I’ll die of I don’t try this! 😉

It’s good 🙂
I’ve been wanting to try some Opus oils. Which do you think I’d like, or have you tried many?

I haven’t tried many. If I come across something that I’d think you’d like then I will let you know.
Starlet sounds fantastic! I could use some glamour in my life. Perhaps a few dabs of Starlet will put some stars in my eyes!
It’s really pretty.
Love this review!
