NEW: Strangebeautiful Library of Camo Artisanal Nail Color Set

Strangebeautiful Library of Camo Nail Color Set

Nail polish as art, I love it. Artist, Jane Schub has mixed 8 super saturated artisanal nail colors in “stunningly provocative and richly perverse: shades.

The colors are sans names/titles but here’s their inspiration:

“The neutralized sand-pink background of the French desert camouflage “Daguet”, a washed out color palette of Snow Shadow camouflage used to match snowy terrain for winter hunting, Tropical variant camouflage of the Russian Federation, the simple elegant palette of the 3-way desert battle dress camouflage used by the Israeli army, Belgian desert jigsaw camouflage, the beautiful watery blots of color almost “Fragonard” in feeling of the Czechoslovakian 5 color desert camouflage”.

I love unusual, mucky, mushroomy nail colors…those murky shades that one can only find in nature. You know those “Is this is a green or is this a brown” kind of shades. Library of Camo has all of my favorites from ochre to fawn to greige. These 8 colors look like winners to me (but I haven’t tried them). I feel this is one more way to enjoy this year’s military inspired fashion obsession. This neutral color set is far from boring. These are really interesting fashion-forward shades that will leave people wondering what color you’re wearing. What do you think?

This nail polish set retails for $79 (about $9.40 each) and is available at www.shoppulp.com.

UPDATE: I think this has been discontinued.

    1. Give me a murky shade any day! But, really do I need another nail color to lust over this autumn? I’ve seen so many great colors lately. I think I may become a nail color hoarder 🙂
