Naiad Sugar Whipped Soap Review – Cardamom Vanilla

Naiad Cardamom Vanilla

Naiad Soap Arts is an indie soap company located in San Diego. I made a Soap Box Company order and thought I’d try a few things from this line.

Naiad Soap Arts says that this soap “has the consistency of whipped frosting” and it does. And I was a little weary of this…until I added water. The lather is awesome. The sugar gently exfoliates and leaves the skin feeling so soft. And it rinses off easily. It’s a scrub and a soap all in one.

Now let’s get to the fragrance. I bought this in early winter and I was in a gourmand mood. I was in that “just fatten up and go into hibernation” mode.

Cardamom Vanilla

You guys, if you love gourmand fragrances or sweeter vanillas, you’ve got to get your hands on this. This is a vanilla with a kick of real cardamom. It’s flip’n amazing. It’s one of my favorite gourmand body products ever and was featured as one of my favorite beauty products of 2013. This is one of the company’s best sellers and if you try it, you’ll totally know why. It’s a custard vanilla with kick from green cardamom.

This scent also comes in a bar soap which I would like to try. But, honestly the formula of the Whipped Soaps are so good that I really don’t feel the need to try a different formula. Oh, and there’s also a lip balm. I should try that.

Seriously, if you love sweet vanillas, you will totally squeal with joy when you smell this.

There are many other scents available in this foaming scrub formula. I would like to try Raspberry Bellini because I have this thing for champagne scents. And I’d like to try Chocolate Coconut because I have no shame. Yeah, I’ll wash my body with a Mounds bar. So, what?

The 10 oz jar retails for about $13 and the 5 oz retails for $8.50 at Naiad Soap Arts. Sample sizes are also available for purchase.
