Tina is so young here! She has to be under 20 in this picture. She grew up fast, getting married at 17. Anyways, I like this look. It’s seem to be what people are going for these days. This look works for most people, but I do think it does look the best on complexion similar to Tina’s. Here’s what I did to achieve a modern day version of Tina’s look:
FACE: I evened out my complexion with Lancôme Aqua Fusion Tinted Moisture in Sand. I need extra coverage under the eyes, so I applied Covergirl Simply Ageless Concealer in Corrector. To absorb oil, I applied Lancôme Color Ideal Pressed Powder in Medium 20. For extra color, I brushed Nars Bronzing Powder in Laguna down the nose, forehead, and on the cheeks. I applied extra to the cheeks as a blush.
EYES: Brows are thick and natural, very Bobbi Brown-ish 🙂 I brushed brows into place with mark Brow Factor Clear Brow Gel. On the lids with e.l.f. “C” Eyeshadow Brush, I brushed on the Nars Bronzing Powder from lash line to brows. This is my eyeshadow. I thickly lined upper lash line with a black liquid liner, Milani Eye Tech Liquid Liner in Black. I winged out for that retro 60’s look. I curled lashes and applied 2 coats of Hourglass Film Noir Mascara in Onyx.
LIPS: Lips are nude and satin. I applied Shiseido Protective Lip Conditioner. I applied Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mink, a medium brown. I blotted on tissue.
For a fragrance, I’m thinking some light and relaxed, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue.
This week I have been running a fever and obviously fighting something off. This has made me weak and behind at work. But, I have a 4 day weekend so I’m looking forward to that. I’ll most likely sleep it away, but that is what I feel like doing. What about you, any weekend plans?
