When the weather gets a bit chilly I start thinking a bit more “tropical”. I love deep berry lips in the winter but sometimes I just want this kind of look. I want to pull out the Pucci scarves and pretend I’m a drug lord’s wife. I want to be tan and I want killer eye makeup. To get Sophia’s look apply tinted moisturizer in your shade. I like Estee Lauder Daywear Plus Tint because it smells like cucumbers and that is sure to get you out of a winter rut. Apply concealer if needed. Apply bronzer if your skin is still sallow. I like Milani Powder Bronzer in Medium. It’s cheap and does the job. Fill in brows with a powdery brow pencil like Lancome Le Crayon Poudre Brow Pencil. Fill in brows and take the spoolie and brush them into place. Apply a nude shadow from lash line to brows, something like the lightest shade in Physician’s Formula Matte Eyeshadow Quad in Canyon Classics. Take the shade to the right of the lightest and apply from lash line to almost the brow bone. Take the deepest shade in the compact and go from lashline to crease for a smoky look. Blend with an eyeshadow brush and apply more of the lightest shade on the brow bone if needed. Get a soft deep liner such as Givenchy Magic Khol Eye Liner Pencil in Black and line the top lash line extending outward in a cat eye motion. Line the bottom lashes too. Keep extending this line outward and upward but do not connect with the top line. This adds extra drama and flash. Love this look. Apply false lashes for a true Sophia look or tons of mascara. Cheeks are bronze. Apply more bronzer to the cheeks or a brownish mauve blush such as Benefit Dallas if you need “color”. Apply bronzer or blush with a large fluffy brush to avoid streaking. Lips are sheer and nude with hint of soft pink. Apply Origins Sheer Stick in Pink Lemonade to lips. Fragrance should be tropical, fruity, and floral. I am thinking of something like Ebba Miss Danielle Parfum Oil which is a blend of grapefruit and jasmine. Now it’s time to sip Mai Tais and listen to exotica.
