The newest perfume by Lili Bermuda is a perfume inspired by “The subtle and delicately sweet perfume evokes the wholesome summer days on a beautiful Bermuda beach“. It’s one of those scents to wear in the summer or to wear when you want be reminded of warm, sunny days.
SunSiss opens with juicy mango. As promised from the note list, SunKiss starts to resemble a fancy orange cream pop. It’s a bitter orange blossom and orange juice with vanilla cream. It dries down to the sort of sheer vanilla-white musk that reminds me of the vanilla-white musk in perfumes like Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée, Arquiste The Architect’s Club and Diptyque Eau Duelle.
Unlike other orange creamsicle perfumes I’ve worn, Sunkiss isn’t heavy. It’s sheer, light and refreshing. It’s the sort of gourmand that you can wear in the summer without smelling like you’re melting.
Notes listed include Japanese loquat, orange blossom, vanilla and whipped cream. Launched in 2017. PERFUMER – Isabelle Ramsay-Brackston
Give Sunkiss a try if you want an orange creamsicle perfume. Or if you like perfumes like ABL Crush’d, By Kilian Sweet Redemption, Penhaligon’s Juniper Sling, Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine, LUSH Sun, Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensée and/or Hermès Eau de Mandarine Ambrée. It’s an excellent gourmand for summer (as I mentioned in my Summer Perfume Guide).
I’ve reviewed the EDT. Projection is average and longevity is below average. There’s also a parfum in this scent that I haven’t tried.
Sunkiss comes in a few sizes. The 1.7 oz EDT retails for $65 at Lili Bermuda. Samples are also available for purchase.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Orange creamsicle over a modern vanilla-musk. It’s a fun nostalgic fragrance made less juvenile by musks and a modern vanilla.
