Lili Bermuda is one of those overlooked brands in the perfume world and I don’t know why. The house offers some great scents and they’re rather affordable.
The two unisex fragrances that I’m reviewing are great “summer scents”. You can add something to your wardrobe that is fresh and summery without spending a lot of money.
South Water – Includes notes of coconut milk, guava and sea salt. Launched 2009. PERFUMER – David Bothello
South Water is like a poor man’s CREED Virgin Island Water. It’s a sheer coconut with fruits (that remind me of pineapple). And there’s a salty, sheer musk.
Or if you like perfumes like CREED Virgin Island Water, Keiko Mecheri Un Jour d’Été or B&BW Coconut Lime Verbena.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Sheer piña colada and salt air. A guilt-free tropical cocktail.
Fresh Water – Includes notes of bigarade orange, bergamot and mandarin. Launched in 2009. PERFUMER – David Bothello
Fresh Water opens as juicy tangerines with green leaves. The rest of the wear is a juicy orange that dries down to a citrus white musk. It’s simple but as far as juicy orange fragrances go, this one smells great.
Try it if you like orange fragrances. Or if you like perfumes like Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine, Tocca Stella or Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine-Basilic.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Juicy tangerines. Simple but when it’s super hot outside, I appreciate these sort of simple fragrances.
Projection and longevity is below average with both of these. They wear like a cologne.
The 3.4 oz bottles retail for $65 at Lili Bermuda. Samples are also available for purchase. And I just realized there’s a shower gel and body lotion in these scents as well.

We honeymooned in Bermuda 30 years ago! Yeah, can’t believe it myself. Anyway, it’s a beautiful island and we would love to visit again. The whole island has a lovely smell and I remember going to a perfumery and also buying a bottle of Fiji perfume. I have often thought of ordering samples from this company. I think I need to do that soon. Thanks for the reminder!
Time flies. I have a 10 year wedding anniversary in a few weeks.
Bermuda looks stunning. You should go back 🙂
I have only tried the feminines which are mostly floral. They’re really worth sampling if you like sheer florals. The little discovery set is nice. The samples come in a cool little tin. I also like that if I do fall madly in love with one of the ones I sampled, I can buy a full-size bottle guilt-free. I mean, they’re under $100, isn’t that “free” in the niche perfume world? 😉
