La Bella Figura Paris Natural Perfume Oil Review

La Bella Figura Paris

Paris – a place that never ceases to inspire perfumes…

La Bella Figura Paris opens with herbaceous, cooling lavender and green herbs. Once it warms on my skin I pick up the most on tarragon and cool earth giving the feel of a damp herb garden in early spring. And then you walk into a bar. It’s slightly smoky with apricot infused sipping whiskey with vanilla. The dry down is classic feeling “parfum” with oakmoss and woods. The brand describes Paris as “floral” but the florals do not stand out on my skin. I get herbaceous booze.

I don’t get Paris from Paris. But, I get France. I get a “Year in Provence”. I’d rather smell like the French countryside than Paris. Paris doesn’t really smell good.

Notes listed include tarragon, French lavender, magnolia, tuberose, orris butter, cognac, vanilla, sandalwood, oakmoss, amyris, and fir balsam. Launch date 2012.

Give Paris a try if you like natural, herbal fragrances. Or if you like perfumes like Aftelier Fig, LUSH Dirty solid perfume, Anu Essentials Meadow Lark and/or DSH Perfumes Eau de Vie. Paris is described on the brand’s site as “romantic and feminine with delicate complexities.” Paris is completely unisex. I do feel you need to like all-natural perfumes to enjoy it because it smells botanical and wears closely to the skin like most all-natural compositions do.

Paris is an oil and wears very closely to the skin. Projection and longevity are below average.

The 1/4 oz perfume oil retails for $90 at La Bella Figura.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONHerbs and booze. It’s a year in Provence with maybe a few trips to Paris in the spring.
