The gorgeous Kitty Korvette created the perfume Faust for vampire novelist, Gabrielle Faust. Gabrielle Faust is the author of the Eternal Vigilance Series as well as a few other vampire novels.
Here is what Gabrielle wanted from the fragrance:
I pride myself on being unique and the perfume an individual wears says quite a bit about how they define themselves and how they want the world to perceive them. I wanted to create a fragrance that was bold and daring, yet deliciously sexy, a fragrance that suggests power and sensuality while still feeling ethereal in some respects. The perfume equivalent of cool silk sheets on a warm New Orleans night.
Kitty combined Gabrielle’s love of gourmand accords with one of her “most sought-after Egyptian musk blends”.
I really didn’t know what to expect with Faust. I just knew that I like the notes listed but I couldn’t imagine them together. Faust is a soft Egyptian musk, a musky floral, with a gourmand spiciness. It does smell like chocolate dipped gingerbread cookies made from an Egyptian musk batter. Being an oil perfume, it wears linear.

Give Faust a try if you like perfume oils or if you are looking for a “darker” Egyptian musk or if you like spicy fragrances. Faust is unisex. I want goth boys to wear it. I like to pretend that goth boys read my blog…
TMI Alert- My husband loves incense fragrances, Nag Champa scents, Egyptian musk…you get the idea. He absolutely loves this one on me.
The scent is an oil and wears like an oil and feels like an oil. So it wears closely to the skin. It also wears for a long time but like I said, very close to the skin.
