Juliette Has A Gun Citizen Queen is everything at once and still not very exciting.
From the note list, I should absolutely love Citizen Queen. But, for some reason it comes across as trying to hard. Think airbrushed park bench portrait of a real estate agent during this housing crisis.
The fragrance opens with a powdery incense and rose. This quickly fades and what is left is a vanilla-amber. I don’t pic up on any of the leather or moss, which is really disappointing. For the most part, it’s a really powdery fragrance.
I could see someone liking this if they like perfumes like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle or Donna Karan Cashmere Mist.
The 3.4 oz bottle retails for $135 at Beautyhabit. Samples are also available for purchase.
