Juara Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer is a hydrating facial moisturizer formulated for normal to dry skin types. This moisturizer contains Kombucha and rice bran oil, an oil rich in fatty acids and Vitamin E. I’ve had wonderful experiences with Juara products that I have used in the past. This Sweet Black Tea & Rice Moisturizer has not let me down.
My Experience – I have normal skin. I have concerns with dullness. My skin gets drier or oilier depending on the season. While testing this, my skin was drier. I am very happy with this Sweet Black Tea & Rice Moisturizer. It gives my skin the perfect amount of moisture without any greasy feel. In fact, this facial moisturizer is like Juara Candlenut Body Creme in feel. Both products absorb very quickly, leave the skin moisturized without any greasy or oily feel. This super hydrating moisturizer feels lightweight when on, the texture is almost “whipped”. I can layer with a natural sunblock and foundation without any feelings of heaviness. And the best part is that my skin feels hydrated and comfortable all day. This moisturizer is supposed to have “anti-aging” and brightening properties. I don’t know about all of that. What I do know is that I really like the feel of this moisturizer. And the ingredients in this moisturizer are “hydrating” ingredients, rich and fatty oils like from rice bran and avocado.
Scent & Appearance – There is a super faint “bran” like aroma to this moisturizer that I am completely neutral over. The moisturizer is a lightweight, almost “whipped” moisturizer cream-lotion that is white in appearance.
Who’s this moisturizer for? I think this moisturizer would work best for those with normal to normal-to-dry skin. It will be too moisturizing for oily skins. This moisturizer is ideal for those that have dry skin but don’t like heavy or greasy feeling moisturizers on their face. This Juara moisturizer absorbs quickly and feels lightweight in comparison to other moisturizers for dry skin. Overall, I recommend this moisturizer to people that want a basic hydrating moisturizer with a luxurious texture.
Who isn’t this moisturizer for? Like I said before, oily skins. This moisturizer does not contain a sunscreen. There is a faint scent, keep that in mind if you are sensitive to scent. This moisturizer is a bit costly at $24 an ounce. You can find something that moisturizes for cheaper. It may not feel as luxurious, but you can find something that does what this does.
This moisturizer retails $55 at Juara.
