I love Guerlain but I’ve never been interested in The Voyage Collection. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s their size and price point that keeps me from trying them. *I seriously do not want 8.3 oz. of any perfume. But, I do want about 1.7 oz of Guerlain Paris-Moscow or Moscou, whatever it is called.
Moscou opens as a cherry floral gourmand. The cherry and cranberry are tart and over a rich cherry-almond-vanilla tonka bean. I absolutely love the fruity cherry in this. Florals peek through but they aren’t bright, light or dewy. It almost appears that the florals are there as a filler to connect the fruit to the sweet tonka base. The dry down is a sweet almond, tonka bean, and vanilla with a hint of woods. With more wear, this base gets creamier.
I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but I agree. Moscou is like a high-quality version of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. Moscou is everything that I wanted Flowerbomb to be and then some.
Notes listed include pine needle, absinthe, plum, cranberry, bergamot, jasmine, tonka bean, sandalwood, vanilla and white musk.
Give Moscou a try if you like floral ambers or perfumes like Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Cartier Délices EDP, Sula Vanilla Blossom, Lolita Lempicka, and/or La Prairie Silver Rain. If you are looking for a good cherry perfume, try this. I think it’s very well done.
This perfume has above average longevity and projection for an EDT. It wears more like an EDP. And as an EDP it has above average longevity.
An 8.3 oz bottle retails for $225 and is available at Nordstrom. Why don’t they offer these in smaller, more affordable sizes? * Update – I’m wrong. There has been a change. The scent is now in 3.4 oz bottles for $215.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Bing cherry-almond-vanilla-tonka bean floral. It’s a better, high quality Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb.

Now, this sounds right up my alley, especially since I’m on the prowl for lighter mists for no other reason than a good scent challenge.
But, agreed – why the McDonald’s supersized bottle? No, 1.7 ounce? for sale? I’d have to love it beyond words to splurge…
It’s the hugest bottle ever. I don’t get it. If it was 2 oz., it’d be like a $50-60 bottle. I’d imagine they’d sell more of those than the Supersize bottle.
Weird. I’ve seen supersized bottles of Eau Fraiches and mists, and maybe an EDC every now & then. But, never an EDT. Will try it at my Nordstrom as the notes sound deliciously wicked.

And it lasts on the skin. I just want the Happy Meal version. Or maybe we can all go in and split a bottle.
This sounds like something I’d love, but I really don’t think I could pony up for the enormous bottle even if I loved it.

It’s great to finally find a cherry perfume done right. It’s so yummy but not thick/heavy.
The perfume is affordable per ounce but why should I buy a jug? Why does anyone need a jug of perfume?
Are you sure it is 8.3 oz? I am holding in my hand a 100 ml / 3.3 oz bottle that I bought from the Guerlain boutique in Paris.
Actually – it is a 3.3 Oz Eau de Parfum which I sent you. You might want to call the boutique in Vegas and see what is actually available.. if the EDP and the EDT are the same.
If it is the 8.4 OZ size – maybe they are trying to have something similar to the Chanel Les Exclusifs and Dio Exclusives which come in the SUpersize packages.
I’m reviewing what that have at Nordstrom. A giant jug labeled Paris-Moscou EDT. Now what I have Nordstrom smells exactly like what you sent me which is apparently a smaller bottle EDP.
I like to pretend that my complaining caused them to change their bottles but I know that it isn’t true…
They changed the bottles recently. The collection is now in 75ml bottles and the names have changed slightly as well, it’s no longer Paris-Moscou, but simply Moscou. Same for the other cities.
The newest, London, is gorgeous, you should try it if you can, so perfectly spring-y!

Awesome! Now I just have to find a bottle 😉
The old bottles were big, now they are 100mls, which might help 🙂

I didn’t try Moscow yet, but now I might need to.
Thank you so much for this info!
Now I’m wondering when Nordstrom will get them in.
I heard many good comments about this perfume so I want to try it. As well as London – I smelled it on paper and it was very nice but now I’m curious how it’ll smell on my skin.
100 ml bottles are much better. How about 50? (G-d forbid 30 or 15)

Yeah, if it was up to me, all lines would come in 30 ml 😉
