So what? Sure, this pic has been photo-rouged but I love Miss Gabrielle’s look. Who doesn’t want the look of Coco Chanel?
FACE: Coco is porcelain perfect in this pic. We can’t get this smooth look without the help of somebody that is very handy with a computer 🙂 First, apply concealer where needed. Illamasqua Concealer is a good do it all product. Apply a matte finish powder in your shade. Try something like Chanel Double Perfection Natural Matte Compact Powder. Cheeks are super sheer. Apply a sheer powder blush in a slightly sable shade. Try something like Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Blush in Silky Sable (not pictured) or Larenim Blush in Innocence.
EYES: Brows are sleek and a bit exaggerated. Fill in brows if necessary with a brow pencil like Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows in your shade. Brush an ivory shade from lash line to brows. I like Kevyn Aucoin The Essential Eyeshadow Single in Tusk. Brush a matte sable brown like Clinique Colour Surge Stay Matte Eye Shadow in Sable (not pictured). Line top lashes with a black eyeliner pencil like Avon Mineral Eye Liner in Onyx. Curl lashes and apply mascara.
LIPS: This look is all about a bold, fearless red lip. So, don’t do this look if your lips are chapped and less than perfect. Apply a red lip liner if you fear bleeding. L’Oreal Colour Riche Lip Liner in Always Red is an inexpensive option. A lipstick like Revlon Matte Lipstick in In The Red is rich and matte. Or you can use Victoria’s Secret Matte Cream Lipstick in Icon (not pictured).
And of course finish with the Chanel fragrance of your choice but I must lean towards #19. It’s one of my favorites.
UPDATE: Post is old so some of these products may not be available.
