Escada Turquoise Summer EDT Perfume Review

Escada Summer Turquoise Review

Mainstream Monday – Sniffing a Popular (Limited Edition) Perfume

When it comes to fragrance, Escada excels at turning Jell-O shots into perfume. This limited edition summer perfume for 2015, Turquoise Summer, is no exception. Escada is at it again!

Turquoise Summer opens with strawberry Jell-O powder dissolving into hot water. And then BAM it’s blue raspberry Jell-O and pineapple flavored vodka. It wears as artificial flavoring berries that eventually dries down to a generic, modern warm musk. Yep, this is a limited edition Escada. This is what they do.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I don’t mind this one. It’s exactly what I expect from Escada. It’s synthetic fruits and musk. I’ve actually wore my sample for “fun”, almost like some sort of rebellion from my usual perfume rotation from brands like Chanel and Serge Lutens.

Jello shots

Notes listed include strawberry, blackberry, black currant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla and sandalwood. Launched in 2015.

Give Turquoise Summer a try if you like really fruity or berry scents. Or if you like perfumes like The Body Shop Strawberry, any of the other limited edition summer Escada perfumes. Ralph Lauren Ralph Wild and/or Marc Jacobs Oh, Lola.

Considering that it’s an EDT, I find projection and longevity to be average for an EDP. I smelled like berries all day long.

This fragrance comes in a few sizes with prices ranging from $46-$77 at Sephora.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONJell-O shots and modern musk. I expect nothing more and nothing less from Escada.

  1. I feel the exact same way as you. I have a bottle of this and i guess I’m rebelling against my nicer perfumes when I wear this. Its enjoyable to have many different scents to wear. Escada is like the Cancun spring break party girl brand of perfumes. It’s dumb and fun but sometimes you want that, you know?

    1. I’m really enjoying this one. THE REBELLION! But, it’s fun and a little trashy, very much like your Cancun analogy. And I need some of that in my life sometimes!

  2. Also, this post reminded me that bath and body works released a few of their 90’s scents! Ah, nostalgia…

  3. […] Escada Turquoise Summer EDT (sample) – My confession is that I tend to like all these super fruity limited edition Escada perfumes because they make me think of when I used to watch “The Simple Life” and wear Just Roberto Cavalli. Review here. […]
