Clothing boutique, Shabby Apple, contacted me regarding a giveaway. I figured many of my readers dig vintage styles just as much as I do, so here we go! This clothing boutique specializes in vintage clothing styles that are easy to wear in the modern world. Scrolling through the website, the specialize in classic cuts that are timeless and ageless. They also carry shoes, accessories, maternity clothes (like really, really cute maternity clothes) and children’s clothes. Oh, and they have vintage style swimsuits and I know from experience that these aren’t the easiest to find.
With a season change, I realized that I hate 90% of what is in my closet. All of my clothes are dreary. I want more stuff like this:

Yeah, I need that awesome beehive too. This should be my day dress that I wear with neroli perfumes…I would love to pair this with red lips and coral nail polish.

This photo is styled to perfect. This should be my skirt that I wear with lemon blossom perfumes. I usually wear pencil skirts but this style of skirt is so light and airy in the summer!

And this is the swimsuit that I wear when I pretend I’m in an aquamusical wearing jasmine perfume.
Their styles vary from 1920’s flapper to 1930’s cabaret to 1950’s Hollywood actress to 1960’s twee pop star. There’s something for everybody. And they do carry sizes that go above a US 12.

Got to love the musicals from that era π
I would love to win and wear a 60’s era dress.
I’ve always admired Grace Kelley’s style.

I have to say I love the elegance of Audrey Hepburn for one, classic!! Even some Greta Garbo
Oh, Audrey Hepburn. I have such a lady crush on her….
Oh, and Grace Kelly, particularly in ‘Rear Window’. She wore the hell out of those outfits. Every time she entered a scene, I sighed with longing (for the clothes and the figure to go with them).
She sure did! Funny, I was just thinking a few days ago that I need to rewatch that film…
I just wanted to say Happy Blog Birthday, Victoria! I wish you many returns and many more years of interesting posts and beautiful videos. Your vintage makeup looks are so inspiring.
Thank you!
