EauMG’s 2014 Holiday Gift Guide for Natural Beauties

Natural Gift Guide

It’s that time of the year again! It’s time for EauMG’s holiday gift guides. I’m starting off the season with my annual Gift Guide for Natural Beauties. This guide contains a variety of natural products for a variety of folks on your list!

Naturals Gift Guide

1. Fragrant: The Secret Life of Scent by Mandy Aftel – This is Mandy Aftel’s newest book and it’s worth reading. It’s a must have for anyone on your list that loves perfume. Retails for about $20 at Amazon.

2. Naked Eye Beauty Best of NEB Bundle – Naked Eye Beauty is a line of natural products and I’m loving their new Biba-esque packaging. This bundle contains a hair powder, natural deodorant and a rose lip tint. It’s a nice sampling of the best sellers from the line. Retails for $35 at Naked Eye Beauty.

3. Rebel + Mercury Botanical Candle in Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Clove – Rebel + Mercury is my favorite brand of all-natural candles. The line has many scents but I think the spicy Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Clove is perfect for this time of year. Also, it’s the brand’s best-selling fragrance. Retails for $41 at Rebel + Mercury.

4. Providence Perfume Co. Perfume Oil in Sweet Jasmine Brown – Providence Perfume Co. has launched a collection of natural perfume oils. They’re all good but my favorite is this big ‘ole white floral Sweet Jasmine Brown. Retails for $50 at Providence Perfume Co. Full review here.

5. House of Matriarch Supernatural Collection – Here’s a luxurious coffret that contains 3.3 ml sprays of all of House of Matriarch’s natural perfumes in a lovely presentation box. Retails for $180 at House of Matriarch.

Fig + Yarrow Bath & Body Kit in Coffee/Meadow – This is a set that contains all-natural products for the bath and body: Floral Milk Bath, Pink Love Salts, Mustard Soak, Meadow Bath & Body Oil, Cardamom & Coffee Body Scrub and Alpine Pumice Foot Treatment. I love their body oils. Retails for $88 Fig + Yarrow.

This is one of my favorite gift guides to put together every holiday season. I often include products that I use frequently that I really think *most* people will enjoy. These products are unisex, most are “ageless” and many make great hostess gifts and stocking stuffers. Another reason why I love doing this guide is because it gives me a chance to showcase small businesses that are creating quality products. These items are handmade (well, excluding the books) and really are special. Personally, I like to support small businesses during the holiday season.

So, does anything in this guide stand out to you? Are there any “naturals” on your holiday wishlist?

If you want more ideas, here’s my 2013 Gift Guide for Natural Beauties. Many of these items are still available.

*Beautyhabit is an affiliate link. Thanks! Also, it’s been brought to my attention that some blogs/publications get paid to include items in their holiday gift guides. I am not financially compensated to include items in my holiday gift guide. These are items that I’ve chosen. I wish they’d pay me so I can buy what ‘s on my wishlist! 😉 But, alas, I’m not paid.

  1. Haha, someday I’ll ask my entire family to pool their resources and buy me the House of Matriarch sample set for Christmas. 😉

This is a lovely gift guide. Thanks for putting it together–I know some folks who would definitely love some of the items here!

    1. Haha, I know! I think we should start a Supernatural Set Kickstarter for us 🙂 I have yet to try everything from the line but what I’ve tried, I’ve really liked.

  2. you hit this out of the park!

whoa. ok, it’s so good, i just used a SPORTS reference. i thought only Maleficent could make me do that? anyway…

Mandy Aftel, Rebel & Mercury, Providence Perfume Co, House of Matriarch & Juniper Ridge (their new on-the-spot-terroirs are genius)– this is all natural at it’s best!!

ok, the aromatherapy book i haven’t read, but the basics are always needed.

i’m a lip balm addict so Stewart + Claire is twice as interesting as i do not know the company AND it’s smack.

are we above panhandling on Capitol Hill for this list? 😉

The aromatherapy book is out in December. It’s a good “basic”, you know, nice for a teen or someone wanting a really basic intro BUT they leave with enough that they’ll hopefully be more curious or happy they can make a face mask or something. Intros are good.

Stewart + Claire have a lot of fun with the flavors. Like the Tarragon one. I love tarragon and I’ve always wondered why that and basil haven’t been in more lip balms since peppermint seems to be so popular. But, what do I know. I’m not in the lip balm business. I just like “weird” stuff.

      haha, YES!

  3. I look forward to your gift guides every year. I appreciate that they truly are your personal picks for great gifting. The candle and lip balms have caught my eye. Thank you!

  4. Victoria!
Thank you for including our Sweet Jasmine Brown perfume oil in your gifts for natural beauties. I look forward to reading your compilations each Holiday and have my eye on your current cravings too: the Besame lipstick (so retro red!) the Christmas fir scented room spray and the killer Natori necklace. Sidenote: did you see that Natori has an entire category devoted to caftans? CAFTANS. They are spectacular! Keep in mind that I always thought Mrs. Roper (from Three’s Company sitcom fame) was a fashionable dresser, so they may not be your thing–but I plan on asking for one as a gift, slathering myself with Sweet Jasmine Brown and donning the Besame lipstick. Watch out world! xoxo

    1. You’re welcome 🙂

You could totally rock that red lipstick and the necklace for sure! I’m all about oversized jewelry right now.

Oh, caftans are the best! I have three from Natori 🙂 I was just talking to David this week about “life plans” and I was like “So, when do we skip to the stage where I live in Palm Springs and wear oversized sunglasses and caftans every single day?” because that’s the dream!
