DSH Perfumes Rose Vert EDP Natural Perfume Review

 DSH Rose Vert perfume

Rose Week 2013

Rose Vert is a green rose. It’s not savory or jammy. It’s not fruity. It’s not like other modern rose releases. Rose Vert is from another era. It smells like something you’d smell in a Belle Époque cinema or at the follies. 1890’s bohemian…

Rose Vert is a bitter citrus floral with dried rose petals. I immediately pick up on the moss. Rose Vert is dusty. Antique. It’s a bitter, green rose that gets richer and deeper with time. The rose is organic in feel, naturally beautiful. See van Gogh’s painting below. This is DSH Perfumes Rose Vert.

van Gogh Roses

Notes listed include citrus, Bulgarian rose, Centifolia rose, Damask rose, Turkish rose , Moroccan rose and tree moss.

Give Rose Vert a try if you like mossy florals. Or if you like perfumes like Caron Nuit de Noel, Tommi Sooni Tarantella, Guerlain Mistouko EDT, Shiseido Zen Cologne, and/or Estee Lauder Azuree. Rose Vert could be unisex. It’s just a bitter rose.

Projection is below average. Longevity is average.

The 1/4 oz spray retails for $49 at Beautyhabit.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONAntique mossy rose. It’s not “on trend” and that’s why I like it.
