I love Crazy Rumors Brew Peppermint Lemongrass Lip Balm! This shouldn’t be shocking since Brew is Crazy Rumors tea line and I’m a tea junkie. But, despite my tea weak spot, this product is awesome. This natural, vegan formula is so smooth and it loaded with tons of moisturizing oils. Some natural lip balm formulas (I won’t name names) feel waxy or hard. This is smoother than butter. Even Paula Deen would agree. The consistency is exactly what I want. It isn’t too “slick” so it does have some staying power. But, here’s the deal: It stays on but I want to keep applying it because I love the Peppermint Lemongrass fragrance/flavor!
The Peppermint Lemongrass aroma is strong. You can smell it. The peppermint is very tingly and refreshing. It also smells like real lemongrass oil. This adds a nice citrus element to the exhilarating peppermint aroma. Don’t blame if you use this and start craving Thai food. This stuff is delicious smelling and reminds me of peppermint/lemongrass tea (I make my own). Also, the formula is “enhanced” with stevia so it has a naturally sweet flavor. Like all things, the fragrance begins to mellow out/fade with time.
Like I said, this stuff tingles and is cooling. It isn’t painful. The minty feel reminds me of lip plumping products. I’m not claiming that this product is a lip plumper (neither is Crazy Rumors), but with this tingle, psychologically I feel like it is mildly plumping. Regardless, I love the fresh feel. And it freshens breath!
I seriously love this stuff. I am a tea fanatic anyways (and a lip balm fanatic). I can’t wait to try the other “flavors”. There’s Spiced Chai! It has cardamom. I love cardamom and the thought of it in a natural, vegan lip balm delights me.
Crazy Rumors Lip Balm retails for about $4 at Crazy Rumors.
I know that some of you are tea fanatics. What’s your favorite tea? I’m always looking for something new to try. I’m on a big green tea kick again.
