Costamor Beachwood EDP Perfume Review

Costamor Beachwood EDP perfume

Costamor is a perfume house inspired by the scents of Costa Rica. Costa Rica is known for its beaches and Beachwood is the beach scent in the collection.

Beachwood opens up as Earl Grey tea. It’s the bergamot but it really does smell like warm, steeped tea in water. There is a salt-aquatic vibe to Beachwood. This saltiness is subtle and mixed with coconut water. The heart is a fresh neroli, coconut water and driftwood musks. It’s probably an issue with my skin, but I do pick up hints of plastic in this fragrance. And you know, it works because it reminds me of summer. It smells a little like a new garden hose or an inflatable raft. Honestly, I don’t think this is intentional…this scent goes from beach to chlorine pool. And the dry-down wears as a strange plastic musk on me.

Notes listed include bergamot, mandarin, neroli, jasmine, coconut, cedar, sandalwood, amber and musk.

Give Beachwood a try if you like aquatic scents or green tea scents. Or if you like perfumes like CB I Hate Perfume Russian Caravan Tea, Bvlgari Green Tea, Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, and/or L’Occitane Green Tea with Jasmine.

I think that the scent has below average projection and average longevity for an EDP.

The 1.7 oz spray retails for $75 at Luckyscent.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONAn aquatic Earl Grey tea. This isn’t my kind of fragrance, but if you like aquatic scents, you may want to try this.
