I rarely ever review haircare products. Aside from skincare, is there anything else that really varies this much from person to person? We all have different needs and expectations. There’s also additional confounding factors like your plumbing/water, season/climate and how you style your hair (heat tools, air dry, etc.). All of this makes reviewing hair products too intimidating for me!

Mainstream Monday : Sniffing a Popular Perfume
Mugler bath/body products are some of my favorites. A few months ago, Mugler launched a new Alien bath/body line with cream, lotion, shower milk, deodorant and a hair perfume.
So, what is a hair mist? It’s another way to wear perfume. I’ve noticed over the past few years that hair perfumes have been very popular with perfume and haircare brands. There’s a few reasons that hair perfumes appeal to me.
- It’s a different way to wear perfume
The last time I wore extensions was when a Hilton was more popular than a Kardashian. So yeah, that was a long time ago. After my “fire engine red/candy color” club kid hair days, I went for a more angular bob that I was very happy with. But, I easily get bored. Earlier this month, I posted my review and tips for a temporary hair color, Roux Fanci-Full. You can see more and read my impressions here. It’s an easy to use hair color that washes out in one washing. It really kept my color looking healthy over the past few months. I’m currently using it over my ash brown and love it.

2015 has been a boring hair year for me. I’m growing it out. This means I’m heat styling less, dying and bleaching less and conditioning it like crazy.
