BijaBody is a natural, eco-friendly body care and tea line located in rugged and wild Montana. I found out about this line this February. I fell hard for this line. You can read all about that here.
Anti-Aging Body Treatment – HoneyOil base lotion with turmeric, tea extracts, wine extracts, algae, and vitamin C+E. The 10 oz bottle retails for $32.
This is an awesome lotion for those with dry, dehydrated skin that dislike the feel of heavy lotions/creams/butters. This stuff is lightweight and incredibly nourishing. There is no greasy residue and it absorbs while leaving your skin so soft. There is a sweet, natural smell that makes me want to eat it (a mix of rose and honey). It’s fragrant but not overly so. It fades and doesn’t interfere with others scents you may choose to wear.
Bedside Manner Lip+Hand Treatment – A HoneyOil fair-trade beeswax and shea balm base with peptides, algae, and vitamins C+E. A 1 oz jar retails for $18.
This product is very moisturizing and doesn’t have an added fragrance. I like to use it on lips, cuticles and hands. My lips are sensitive, many lip balms leave my lips itchy. I blame SPF but I’ve also had a few without SPF make my lips irritation. Rashy lips = not sexy. Bedside Manner was very gentle to my lips and actually healed instead of irritated. The texture is thick like a salve but smooths out easily. A little goes far. This product is unisex: there’s no fragrance and the packaging is gender neutral. BijaBody recommends that you use this balm on laugh-lines. I’ve found that this balm is gentle enough to use on the orbital bone as an eye cream. And it doubles as a brow tamer. I love a multi-functional product.
