Ayala Moriel Tea Rose is a limited edition rose soliflore inspired by Asian varieties of roses. My warning is that you better absolutely adore rose if you are going to try this one. My next warning, I love roses.
Tea Rose opens as a grassy rose with lemony-citronella facets. In the heart, Tea Rose becomes a fruitier rose with a a peach rooibos and green leaves. It dries down to a velvety vanilla rose with musk.
Like I said, this is a rose soliflore. But, as far as a rose soliflore goes this one smells very realistic. It captures the natural fruity and citrus characters of certain varieties of fresh roses. It’s like shoving your nose into a living, breathing rose.
Contains notes of ambrette, cassie, cassis green tea, Japanese rose, osmanthus tea rose, vanilla CO2 and violet leaf. PERFUMER – Ayala Moriel
Give Tea Rose a Try if you LOVE rose. Or if you like perfumes like Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose, CREED Fleur de The Rose Bulgarie, Serge Lutens Sa Majeste la Rose, Aftelier Wild Roses and/or Annick Goutal Rose Absolue. It’s a rose soliflore so I view it as unisex but many people could see it as feminine.
Projection is average and longevity is below average. It dries down to something that wears closely to the skin.
The 1/2 oz EDP retails for $180 at Ayala Moriel. Samples are also available for purchase.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – A natural rose soliflore that leans fruity. It really does smell like real roses. My only complaint is the price, but in the world of naturals rose is not a cheap material. And as a rose lover, I would know. I’ve looked it up many times.
