Artemisia Golden Hour Natural Perfume Review

Artemisia Golden Hour

Artemisia Natural Perfumes Golden Hour is inspired by dusk. This rich floral was composed to represent the setting sun.

Golden Hour is a naturally minty tuberose with a few grass blades. It’s a sharp, green tuberose – a “leafy tuberose”.The top and heart wear as a “green” white floral. It dries down to a rich, warm and boozy vanilla with tonka. This base is decadent and really does give off a “warm glow”. Actually, the entire fragrance is decadent. Golden Hour is one of the very few perfumes that belongs in the “creamy green” category.

My description of Golden Hour makes it sound rather simple. But, it isn’t. It’s a “creamy green” and that in itself is complex.

Grace Kelly

Notes listed include tuberose, vanilla, cognac, night queen and galbanum. Launched 2013. PERFUMER – Lisa Fong

Give Golden Hour a try if you like tuberose. Or if you like perfumes like Aftelier Haute Claire, DSH Perfumes Celadon, Mona di Orio Tubereuse and/or Hiram Green Moon Bloom. I consider this perfume unisex. Golden Hour is a natural perfume but one doesn’t have to be a hardcore fan of naturals to love this perfume.

Projection is average and longevity is above average.

A .68 oz EDP retails for $68 at Artemisia Natural Perfumes. A solid perfume and samples are also available for purchase.

Victoria’s Final EauPINIONA creamy green tuberose with vanilla. I have a feeling that these natural tuberoses will convert anyone into a tuberose lover.
