It all started with aroma M Camellia Hair Oil and Face Oil. We perfume folks are gluttons. A luxurious hair and complexion oil wasn’t enough for us. We then demanded a matching bath and body oil. But, why stop there? We then demanded to have a perfume in this lovely scent. And now we have it. Not only are we gluttons but we’re a rather demanding group and sometimes this works in our favor.
Camellia opens an intoxicating white floral which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve always thought of the Camellia line like something Cleopatra would have used – a big rose and jasmine. The opening is slightly citrusy and green but one will notice the florals immediately. It’s a huge bouquet of roses and jasmine. This heart is a fresh white floral with humidity. It dries down to a warm, waxy jasmine with resins.
So, now we can have it all. We can literally anoint our entire bodies with aroma M Camellia.
Notes listed include jasmine, gardenia, neroli, geranium, camellia, rose and frankincense. Launched in 2014. PERFUMER – Maria McElroy
Give Camellia a try if you like white florals or “fresh” florals. Or if you like perfumes like House of Matriarch Destiny, April Aromatics Jasmina, Rodin perfume, Rebel + Mercury Royal Couple and/or Patou Joy.
For a natural perfume oil, this fragrance has average projection and longevity. It’s also available as an EDP.
The 1/4 oz bottle retails for $150 at Luckyscent. Samples are also available for purchase.
Victoria’s Final EauPINION – Naturally gorgeous rose and jasmine. I’m happy we asked for this because it’s beautiful.
