Aether Arts Love for 3 Oranges is a perfume inspired by Prokofiev’s “A Love for Three Oranges”, an opera based on an Italian fairy tale that premiered in the early 1920’s. This scent is like being immersed into an orange grove. It’s the fruit, flowers and trees.
Love for 3 Orange opens really does open with juicy oranges. This perfume reverses the usual order of a birth of an orange. It gives us fruit then the orange blossoms and lastly, tree leaves. This is one of the few perfumes that smells just like the note list. It dries down to woodsy citrus with a sun-bleached musk. It’s a realistic orange. It’s like standing in an orange grove.
Notes listed include juicy orange accord, creamy orange blossom accord, bright green notes, woody accord and musk. PERFUMER – Amber Jobin
Give Love for 3 Orange a try if you like orange or orange blossom perfumes. Or if you like perfumes like Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine, Shay & Blue Blood Oranges, Von Euserdorff Classic Orange, Cartier Eau de Cartier Essence d’Orange and/or LUSH Sun.
Projection and longevity are average.
The 5.5 ml bottle retails for $58 at Aether Arts. Other sizes and samples are also available for purchase.

Oooh, this perfume sounds fantastic. I love orange blossom, and orangey things remind me of growing up in southern California, so this is an instant sell!
Oh, this will probably be a happy childhood memory scent for you! It’s like an orange grove 🙂
The reverse order of the birth of the fruit is SO TRUE! Had a chance to sample this and was amazed at it’s
ability to move backward through time. fruit, blossom, tree.
Aether Arts has many olfactory illusions as such… incredible work!
It’s a really cool concept and surprisingly, I can’t think of any other scent like it.
I always enjoy sampling Aether Arts perfumes.
